In Kansas, all students participating in the Midwest Student Exchange Program must reside in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, or Wisconsin.
Requirements for Incoming Freshmen:
To be considered, applicants MUST have a declared major (Radiology, Medical Diagnostic Imaging, and Speech Pathology majors are excluded from the MSEP program. Students also cannot declare Undecided) and meet one of the requirements:
- Have an ACT score of 21 or higher, OR a comparable SAT score
- Have a 2.5 grade point average in the core curriculum (4 units English, 3 units Natural Science, 3 units Math, 3 units Social Sciences)
- Rank in the top 1/3 of your graduating class.
Requirements for Transfer Students**:

**Transfer students must have a 3.00 cumulative college GPA along with one of the above requirements.
In order to continue the program at Fort Hays State University, a student must:
- be a full-time student (12 credit hours or more per semester);
- be continuously enrolled (fall/spring semesters) and not to exceed four years of college enrollment (includes enrollment at previous colleges and FHSU);
- maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
Award: Tuition assessed at 150% of Kansas undergraduate rates.
