Undergraduate students

Entering freshmen from MSEP states will qualify for the University's Out-of-State Tuition Waiver, which covers 100% of the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition if they qualify for admission and meet one of the following criteria:

  • ACT composite of 24 or higher (or SAT of 1160 - sum of evidence-based reading/writing and mathematics portions)
  • High school grade point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.00 scale
  • Class rank in the top 50%

Entering transfer students will qualify for the Out-of-State Tuition Waiver if they have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher and at least 24 transferrable credits earned after high school graduation.

Refer to the Missouri State scholarship website (www.missouristate.edu/scholarships) for additional details, including renewal criteria.

Graduate students must have completed an accredited degree program with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and been formally accepted to a graduate degree program.
