The University of Nebraska-Lincoln proudly welcomes students from Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP) states who are looking to grow both intellectually and personally. As a comprehensive Big Ten university, Nebraska offers more than 150 undergraduate majors, an outstanding research library, excellent recreational facilities, a vibrant arts and entertainment scene, and a beautiful, safe campus that sits adjacent to downtown Lincoln, Nebraska's capital city.
Nebraska participates in MSEP through the New Nebraskan Tuition Scholarship, which reduced out-of-state tuition for eligible students. Students who apply for admission, are admitted, and qualify for the New Nebraskan Scholarship meet the University’s participation in MSEP. No separate application is required.
Visit our out-of-state cost and aid website for more information where you can also estimate your costs with our Net Price Calculator. 97% of first-year students receive a scholarship or grant to attend Nebraska.
Visit our MSEP webpage for more information about how MSEP works at Nebraska.
Apply for admission to be considered for available scholarships. Admitted students can also submit a supplemental scholarship application to be considered for additional leadership, service, and departmental scholarships.
